Public Law 94-580, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, is part of U.S. Code, Title 42. Copies of the U.S. Code may be obtained through the Congressional Sales Office, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C. 20402.
3. REGULATORY REQUIREMENT: The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials in accordance with Public Law 94-580 to the maximum extent practicable.
4. QUALITY ASSURANCE:
A. Responsibility for Inspection: Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all the inspections requirements of this CID. Except as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own facilities or any commercial laboratory acceptable to the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the Commercial Item Description, where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure that supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements (SEE Section 6, Ordering Data).
