G. Be marked in a legible and permanent manner with the manufacturer’s name/or trademark.
Waorkmanship: Except for the serrated cutting edge of the blade, the tape dispenser shall be free of sharp edges. The tape dispenser shall also be free of any defects which will adversely affect appearance, impair serviceability, or which might constitute a personal hazard to the user, including, but not limited to, a superfluous coating of any kind, burrs, scratches, niches, dents, blisters, crinkling, imbedded foreign matter, or discoloration. Any fasteners or pins used in the assembly shall be set in accordance with normal commercial practice, including, but not limited to, exhibiting a firmly tightened, flush seating. The tape dispenser shall not exhibit evidence of deformity, including, but not limited to cracking, bending, loosened parts, warping, or visible stress marks, after testing as prescribed in paragraph 4.C.3.
Corrosion Resistance: Except for the actual cutting edge of the blade, all metal parts shall be resistant to corrosion. Individual parts shall be either corrosion resistant stainless steel or anodized, plated, finished with baked enamel, subjected to a bluing process, or whatever is commercially appropriate for the specific function of the part. The contractor shall provide a manufacturer’s chemical certification of corrosion resistance upon request by the Government.
