Q. Workmanship: All cases shall be free of any defects which may impair appearance or serviceability. Defects include, but are not limited to: incorrect dimensions, unapproved color, misapplied lining or covering, wrinkles, bubbles or ragged edges in lining or covering, or any corners not reinforced according to standard manufacturing practice.
2. RECOVERED MATERIALS.
The Tray and cover shall have a minimum of 40% post consumer recovered material in accordance with 40 CFR, part 250. Parts made of metal or plastic shall contain recovered material to the maximum extent practical.
3. QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. Each lot of Cases, Filing, Transfer shall be inspected for conformance to the requirements herein. Inspection shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-105 using the sampling plans specified below.
B. Visual characteristics- Inspection Level S-4 with an Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) of 4.0 percent defective. The sample unit shall be one Case, Filing, Transfer.
C. Dimensional characteristics- Inspection Level S-2 with an Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) of 4.0 percent defective. The sample unit shall be one Case, Filing, Transfer.
D. Packaging, Packing, and Marking- Inspection Level S-2 with an AQL of 4.0 percent defective. The sample unit shall be one fully prepared shipping container.
4. APPLICATION FOR COPIES OF TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS REFERENCED HEREIN.
The issue date in effect on date of invitation for bids or request for proposal shall apply.
