COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
AIRBRUSH, ARTIST
(KIT)
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description by all Federal Agencies.
1. Scope. This commercial item description covers a single action, artists airbrush kit, without compressor, and a needle adjuster to control the spray.
2. Salient Characteristics:
2.1 The kit shall consist of component parts in accordance with the manufacturer’s normal commercial practices.
2.2 Instruction shall be provided for attaching, operating, adjusting and turning on component parts for the Airbrush Artist (Kit).
Workmanship. The complete kit shall present a neat, finished appearance and shall exhibit no evidence of sharp, jagged, rough, or other unfinished components. The kit shall be free from defects which may affect its durability, serviceability, and appearance.
3. Regulatory Requirements: the offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials to the maximum extent practical, in accordance with paragraph 23.403 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
4. Quality Assurance Provisions:
4.1 Product Conformance. The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this commercial item description, conform to the producer’s own drawings, specifications, standards and quality assurance practices and be the same product offered for sale in the commercial market. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance.
